Wow! What an experiance. This last weekend at state was a blast. It was full of lots of awesome memories and fun with friends. We left around noon on Thursday and got back late Saturday night. They race was on Saturday morning. The drive was long, and a little squished! We took two surburbans with 16 people... full to the max, with tons of gear. I was in a room with three other great girls. We had fun coloring, dancing to music, sleeping, decorating our door, singing, doing make-up, teasing the two boys who qualified, watching movies, and eating... lots of eating! We walked and learned the course on Friday, and bought the state gear. We also had a big team dinner that night, and looked at all the pictures from the trip. Our goal was to place in the top ten, and our girls team placed 9th, yeah! It was a very hard race, with a lot of hills. The whole weekend was such an amazing experiance! On the way home we ate dinner at Minors... HUGE hambergurs. Our trip also included lots of Starbucks and tag at reststops. What fun! It was incredible. I am so glad that I did cross-country!
